Important Notice

Like other organisations, we have been closely following government advice to ensure we prioritise customer, employee and public safety during the current Covid-19 pandemic. As a result, we have temporarily paused all face to face delivery, and instead will be continuing all services online.

Our new virtual service allows you to continue your programme remotely – you will still benefit from a dedicated Educator and online group environments, and the content of your sessions will continue as planned.

We will be delivering our online service via the Zoom platform – this is an easy to use tool, widely used for online services. If you want to take a look and familiarise yourself, please visit Full support will be provided for your virtual programme.

Help is at hand: Reduce your risk of Type 2 diabetes

Type 2 diabetes is a very serious health condition but there are lots of things you can do to reduce your risk or even stop you getting it.

If you are at high risk of developing Type 2 diabetes, you may be eligible for referral to your local Healthier You service. This NHS-funded programme can support you to make simple changes to your diet, weight management and physical activity levels. They are easy to incorporate into your everyday routine and can significantly reduce your risk of diabetes-related health problems
